Dr. GPCR Virtual Cafe
The scientific team at BioTek, a part of Agilent, has worked extensively to develop effective solutions for conducting GPCR activation studies using instruments optimized for kinetic live-cell applications. Utilizing both sensitive detection methods as well as automated image capture and analysis tools, these microplate-based approaches enable higher throughput and deliver reproducible results.
This presentation will provide an overview of commonly used GPCR assay formats, including both plate reader- and automated imaging system-based applications, and review important considerations for selecting the most appropriate instrumentation. Additionally, we will share tips to optimize assay conditions and conduct meaningful analysis, drawing from experience working with researchers in the field.
