About Nicole (Nicki) Perry-Hauser
I am a postdoctoral research fellow endeavoring to build a productive, independent scientific research career in adhesion G protein-coupled receptor (aGPCR) biology. My long-term research interests involve resolving signaling pathways downstream of GPCRs and establishing how/if these receptors’ adhesive properties influence signaling events and, in turn, whether signaling impacts synapse formation and neuronal wiring. Mutations in GPCRs have been linked to various neuropsychiatric phenotypes, and my work will provide a basis for understanding GPCR biology in the nervous system.
